Sai Ocean Front Residences is set to start construction this summer. The low-rise luxury development will occupy the site of the Gulf Towers Motel, which was demolished in February 2023.
The venture comprises eight units, with two penthouses already under contract. St. Pete Rising reports that homes measure 3,876 square feet to 5,353 square feet, with every unit featuring a 600-square-foot terrace and views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Layout plans range from three-bedroom to five-bedroom designs, and interior amenities include 10-foot-high ceilings, two-car garages, en suite guest bedrooms, and other high-end furnishings. Each home also comes with a private elevator.
Residential amenities include a private swimming pool, guest parking, lobby, and courtyard. Construction is expected to end on Sai Ocean Front Residences in mid-2025. At the time of publication, our sources indicated that the remaining units started at $6 million.
The site was previously home to the Gulf Towers Motel, which was demolished in 2023.
Dr. Kiran Patel of Vision Makers is the developer. His team acquired the build site for $9 million in 2005. Other involved parties on Sai Ocean Front Residences include Place Architecture and Studio M.
Sai Ocean Front Residences will be located at 404 Gulf Boulevard, Indian Rocks Beach, FL, 33785, in Pinellas County. It will lie south of Clearwater and north of Indian Shores.
