Mutual of America Life Insurance hopes to get approval for a seven-story apartment complex on its Boca Campus. The unnamed building would comprise close to 345,000 square feet of new construction, offering 288 units.
Layout plans would span one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans, averaging 844 square feet each. Of those units, 29 would be set aside as affordable housing and 15 units would be reserved as workforce housing.

Mutual of America Life Insurance also filed plans for a six-story office building (pictured).
In addition to the residences, the mid-rise building would include 2,000 square feet of retail and a 504-spot parking garage. The residential complex is part of a larger plan set forth by Mutual of America Life Insurance. In summer 2023, the firm filed plans for a six-story, 158,185-square-foot office building.
It would replace its smaller office that was constructed in 1984. All of this would take shape on a 11.7-acre lot. Under the current proposal, the new office building would take shape before the 288-unit apartment complex. Involved parties on the venture include Butters Construction & Development and Altman Cos.

If you’re going to put trees and terraces inside of a building, don’t poke them in random areas like chads out of a punchcard.
