Modera St. Petersburg is nearing the end of construction in Pinellas County. The 20-story project will feature 383 apartments, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans and penthouses.
Interior finishes include wood plank-style flooring, in-unit washers and dryers, and quartz countertops, among other offerings. St. Pete Rising reports that Mill Creek Residential, the venture’s developer, purchased the two-acre build site for $10.3 million in 2021.
Communal amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, sixth-floor residents’ lounge and bar, and landscaped courtyards. Aside from the residential aspect, plans call for more than 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.
The general contractor broke ground on the multi-family housing development in 2022, having first demolished a 92,248-square-foot warehouse that was previously on the build site. Modera St. Petersburg topped out in March 2023. Our sources indicate that while some parts are still undergoing construction, the community’s first residents began moving in last month.
At the time of publication, Apartments.com listed rent as ranging from $2,150 to $4,400 a month, with homes’ square footage ranging from 675 to 1,400 square feet each. The developer’s website lists Modera St. Petersburg’s address as 201 17th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL, 33712, in Pinellas County. It lies at the intersection of the area’s Great Central, Edge, and Warehouse Arts districts.
