A five-story penthouse-only condominium is scheduled to break ground on Treasure Island, Florida. The Pearl, scheduled for a 2025 release, will feature four full-floor penthouses that offer “unobstructed 180-degree ocean views and private access to one of the widest sections of the barrier island”, according to St. Pete Rising.
Our sources indicate that each four-bedroom, five-bathroom residence will host 10-foot-high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling hurricane-impact windows, and gourmet kitchens with customized cabinetry. Other in-unit amenities include Cove/Subzero/Wolf appliances, low voltage lighting, and soaking tubs.
Units also come with three deeded interior parking spots. Each home measures around 4,000 square feet. Communal amenities include a dog run, heating outdoor swimming pool/spa, and a patio fire pit. Homes currently start at $5.5 million each, averaging to about $1,371 a square foot, per Zillow. Construction is expected to start within the next few weeks.
GSA Contracting Inc. is the general contractor. St. Petersburg-based Fraze Design is the architect. At the time of publication, aerial renderings showed a low-rise building on the build site; it’s unclear whether this structure has been demolished.
The Pearl will soon start construction at 10126 Gulf Boulevard, Treasure Island, FL, 33706, in Pinellas County. It’ll lie north of St. Pete Beach and west of Florida 275.
