Developers have filed a pre-application for the House of Wellness Hotel in Miami-Dade County. The hotel, measuring 43 stories above grade, would occupy a 0.6-acre site. Upon completion, it would offer 823 units, spanning levels 11 to 42.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that the high-rise tower will have 339 parking spots on floors two through nine. The ground-floor will serve as a lobby; the 10th floor will host the communal amenities. There also will be a rooftop swimming pool.
North at Brickell VI LLC, an affiliate of North Development, currently has the build site under contract. It’s working on a similar project: Domus Brickell Park, a short-term rental community that broke ground earlier this spring. Measuring 12 stories above grade, the venture will offer 172 units.
The House of Wellness Hotel’s future build site is currently home to an office building and apartments, all of which would be demolished prior to the start of construction. McG Architecture designed the hotel. It also designed Crescent Heights, a four-story commercial building with a 34,099-square-foot Whole Foots, among other retail ventures.
The House of Wellness Hotel is planned for 132 SW 98th St., Miami, FL, 33130, in Miami-Dade County.

I think this project is on 9th Street and not on 98th Street.
