A luxury home development is slated for Apollo Beach. Hammock Bay would comprise 47 homes, with square footage spanning 3,500 to more than 7,500 square feet. The Tampa Bay Business Journal notes that residences will come with “deep-water access”, along with various high-end finishings.

The publication also shares that the home lots themselves will cost $600,000; home-lot packages start at $1.8 million. Hammock Bay itself is anticipated to cost more than $175 million to complete. Impact Properties is the developer. Bartlett Custom Homes and Tide Homes plan to start infrastructure work in early 2025, with “Custom and spec homes” to start construction in the fourth quarter.

Demand is high for luxury homes in Southwest Florida, as evidenced by two projects Florida YIMBY has recently covered. This summer, we shared information about Ora Hotel and Residences, a hotel-condo with 622 units. The 39-story tower will have more than 45,000 square feet of amenities and could cost more than $600 million to complete.

Florida YIMBY also reported on Altura Bayshore, a 73-condo development that recently finished construction. Its homes measure 2,176 to 3,575 square feet, spanning two-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans.

Our sources don’t list an exact address for Hammock Bay. Yet, they share that the community will be located “south of Symphony Isles off of U.S. 41 in Apollo Beach”.
