Wellness Stay LLC has proposed a mixed-use project featuring medical space, homes, and a hotel in Miami-Dade County. Jardon’s Tower would comprise 134,350 square feet of new construction.
Conceptual renderings show an eight-story building connected to a four-story parking garage via a pedestrian bridge. The smaller structure would feature 78 parking spots and three 520-square-foot townhomes. The South Florida Business Journal reports that the taller tower will have 46 hotel rooms spanning 350 to 480 square feet.
There will also be a rooftop swimming pool reserved for hotel guests, along with 2,325 square feet of commercial space and more than 28,000 square feet of cosmetic and dental offices. The idea behind Jardon’s Tower is that the hotel would offer accommodations for out-of-towners seeking cosmetic surgery procedures.
Traded reports that Wellness Stay LLC acquired the 0.73-acre build site for $3.8 million in 2021. The 31,867-square-foot lot previously hosted a 1930s-era “pay-by-the-hour” motel. It has since then been demolished. BC Architects designed Jardon’s Tower. The Coral Gables-based firm also designed a residential venture in Clearwater that Florida YIMBY covered earlier this June.
Jardon’s Tower is currently in its pre-application phase. It’s been proposed for 4350 SW 8th St., Coral Gables, FL, 33134, in Miami-Dade County.
