SHVO has announced key construction milestones and the general contractor selection for The Raleigh, an ultra-luxury development in Miami Beach. Situated at 1775 Collins Avenue, the three-acre estate will include a 17-story residential tower designed by Peter Marino, a 60-room Rosewood hotel integrated within the historic Raleigh, Richmond, and South Seas Art Deco facades, and an exclusive beach club operated by Milan-based Langosteria. The Americaribe Moriarty Joint Venture (AMJV), a partnership between Americaribe, LLC, and John Moriarty & Associates of Florida, has been selected as general contractor, overseeing excavation and piling work currently underway.

“The Raleigh is a transformative development shaping the future of South Beach, and we have assembled a first-class team to realize our vision,” said Michael Shvo, CEO and Founder of SHVO. “We are creating a new standard for collectible design and ultra-luxury living on Miami Beach while respecting the property’s incredible history.”
The project, set for completion in 2027, will deliver 40 meticulously crafted residences spanning two to five bedrooms, including five expansive penthouses. Residences will feature floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive terraces, and seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces. The property will also include a curated selection of bespoke amenities, such as private residential lobbies designed by Peter Marino, multiple pools, private cabanas, and exclusive access to the Rosewood Asaya Spa. The Raleigh’s iconic fleur-de-lis-shaped pool and Martini Bar will be restored to maintain their historical integrity.

AMJV brings extensive expertise in luxury developments, having worked on projects such as the Perez Art Museum Miami, Brickell City Centre, and the upcoming Waldorf Astoria Miami tower. The Raleigh is the first major project along “Billionaire’s Beach” to secure its full site building permit and advance into active construction. Over $1 billion is being invested in the project, which aims to seamlessly integrate history with modern design.
Residents of The Raleigh will also enjoy exclusive access to the Beach Club, featuring gourmet dining by Langosteria in its first U.S. location. Additional dining experiences include a restored Tiger Room restaurant and a Rosewood signature restaurant in the historic South Seas.

Thank you Barbara Capitman for saving Miami Beach’s fabulous Art Deco legacy. Without that, the Raleigh would have been torn down.
