Hallandale Beach’s Planning and Zoning Board (PZB) intends to review a proposal that would replace a trailer park with a mixed-use venture. Seville General Partners, which owns the 8.5-acre property that currently hosts the Seville Mobile Home Park, is seeking a rezoning change that would allow residences and retail and office space.
Civil engineer Kimley-Horn has created renderings based on a 750-home complex that would also offer 25,206 square feet of retail, 1,550 parking spots, and just over 44,000 square feet of office space. The age-restricted Seville Mobile Home Park currently features 130 mobile homes and 35 RV spots. In total, the new venture would require 1.39 million square feet of new construction.

BC Architects designed the project; the Coral Gables-based firm also designed Jardon’s Tower, a 134,350-square-foot development that would offer medical space, residences, and a hotel.
For Seville General Partners’ rezoning request to move forward, it must be approved by Hallandale Beach’s City Commission and County Commission before the start of construction. Its project concerns 515 N. Federal Highway and 426 N.E. 5th Street, Hallandale Beach, FL, 33009, in Broward County. It would lie east of I-95, south of Fort Lauderdale International Airport.
