Coral Gables-based Housing Trust Group (HTG) is seeking approval for “Paramount Place”, an affordable housing development for seniors in Broward County. Plans call for an eight-story building comprising 162,541 square feet of new construction.
There would be 96 residences ranging 699 to 1,066 square feet, with floorplans including one-bedroom and two-bedroom designs. The South Florida Business Journal reports that residents would have access to a fourth-floor pool deck and various indoor offerings (such as a fitness center) on floors two through four.

Hollywood’s Technical Advisory Committee will consider HTG’s proposal. If approved, Paramount Place would replace an 11,486-square-foot commercial building on the property. Hollywood Digest shares that HTG acquired the 35,030-square-foot site for $3.6 million in August 2024, with the city providing a $2.7 million loan through the September 2018 Interlocal Agreement for Affordable Housing.
Realization Architects designed the project. The firm, also located in Coral Gables, designed Hillcrest Apartments, an income-restricted housing development also located in Hollywood. Our November 2024 report shared that plans called for an eight-story building with 120 homes measuring 670 to 1,420 square feet.
Paramount Place could occupy 826 S. Dixie Highway and 2115 Washington Street, Hollywood, FL, 33020, in Broward County. It would lie southwest of ArtsPark at Young Circle.
