Fort Lauderdale-based Stiles Corp. wants to proceed with a multi-family housing development in Plantation, FL. Currently, it’s seeking approval for a land use amendment and rezoning request of a 22.3-acre property––4.3 acres of which could host the new complex.
Plans call for 385 apartments. Configurations include one-bedroom to three-bedroom models, with square footage ranging from 540 to 1,345. The homes would be spread across four buildings measuring seven and eight stories above grade. Plans also call for a 548-spot parking garage, offering 1.42 spots per unit.

The new housing development wouldn’t replace the 101,441-square-foot office building on the property but instead occupy the edge of its parking lot. Plantation Crossroads I LLC, which owns the building, is working with Stiles on the apartments.
MSA Architects designed the venture. The Miami-based firm also designed Edera Palm Springs, a 264-unit community in West Palm Beach. That venture opened in the fourth quarter of 2024, offering a “walkable garden-style community with 11 three-story buildings amid lush landscapes.” Florida YIMBY covered this endeavor last November.
Stiles Corp’s project would occupy part of 8201 to 8151 Peters Road, Plantation, FL, 33324, in Broward County. The endeavor follows a trend of multi-family housing developments being constructed in office parking lots.
