City officials are considering plans for the Fleet Landing at Nocatee, a multi-family community for seniors 62 years and older in Duval County. Plans call for accommodations that offer independent living, memory care, and assisted living services.
More specifically, there would be a nine-story building with 107 apartments, comprising about 108,000 square feet of new construction. It would offer independent living accommodations with amenities including a library, art room, three dining venues, and other support services.

Seventeen independent living units would be in two three-story buildings within the Fleet Landing at Nocatee called “West Flats”, and there would be a three-story memory care building with 44 one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Other features of the community include a guardhouse, on-site storage units, and resident parking.
Fleet Landing acquired the 35-acre build site in 2020. Currently, the six permits in review for the project cost $134 million. The Jacksonville Daily Record reports that construction is anticipated to start this year and will achieve completion in phases, with the entire project estimated to wrap in 2027.
Perkins Eastman Architects DPC designed the community. Conceptual renderings show that upper-story apartments come with screened-in balconies. Brasfield & Gorrie LLC of Jacksonville is the general contractor. The Fleet Landing at Nocatee is planned for 555 Cross Town Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32256, in Duval County.
