New York-based Silver Sky Global Capital is breathing life back into a Sarasota development that closed in 2021. The new and improved Sarasota Bath & Racquet Club will feature 256 condos, from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans, along with commercial, retail, and recreational space.
BLDUP reports that the residences will range from 700 to 2,200 square feet, located in a four-story building. Most of the homes (including all of the one-bedroom units) have been pre-sold. The mixed-use development will feature swimming pools, a fitness center, 16 pickleball courts (12 indoors, four outdoors), a dog park, and other on-site amenities.

Silver Sky Global Capital and Federal Finance Group purchased the 13-acre site for $15.35 million in 2022. The Sarasota Bath & Racquet Club’s original buildings have been demolished, but according to the Business Observer, plans call for a 43,500-square-foot private club that will “reinvigorate the heritage and positioning of the original Sarasota Bath & Racquet Club built in 1969.”
Aside from the residential aspect, there will be 60,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial, retail, and office space, along with an additional 21,700 square feet of commercial space, and a two-acre park. The new mixed-use development will be located at 2170 Robinhood St., Sarasota, FL, 34231, in Sarasota County.
