Last October, construction started on Alon Luxury Apartments, a multi-family housing development in Sarasota. The project, which is part of Collier Companies’ “2X Initiative,” will deliver 312 homes spread across six four-story buildings. The Collier Companies shares that apartments will span one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans, aiming to offer a “living experience that combines modern convenience with sophisticated style.”
The first homes will become online in this year’s fourth quarter. Alon Luxury Apartments comprises a host of comprehensive amenities. A notable feature is the two-story, on-site clubhouse that will feature a fitness center, co-working space, and various common areas. There will also be a resort-style swimming pool and more than 150,000 cubic feet of storm tech infrastructure.

Verdex Construction is the general contractor. Dynamik Design is Alon’s architect. The Atlanta-based firm also designed Monarch Luxury Apartments, another project also developed by The Collier Companies. Undergoing construction in Fort Myers, the venture will deliver 472 luxury apartments and a host of high-end amenities. It’s anticipated to finish construction in early 2027.
Our sources list the address of Alon Luxury Apartments as 2347 University Parkway, Sarasota, Florida, 34243, in Sarasota County. Google Earth’s aerial renderings show that the build site was undeveloped prior to the start of construction and is adjacent to Shoot Straight Sarasota.
