Montierre Development is preparing to begin construction soon on The Dynasty Ocoee, a $1 billion, 159-acre youth sports and entertainment complex in the City of Ocoee. Located east of Winter Garden and south of Apopka, near State Road 429, the project will rise on a previously undeveloped site at the southeast corner of Ocoee-Apopka Road and Fullers Cross Road. The development is set to transform the area into a regional destination for youth sports tourism, hospitality, and community recreation.

Designed by AECOM and MDSX, The Dynasty is envisioned as a walkable, all-in-one campus integrating indoor and outdoor sports venues, lodging, wellness amenities, retail, and public recreation. Plans call for a 150,000-square-foot indoor sports facility equipped with immersive simulation technology and data-tracking smart equipment for advanced athlete training. Seventeen multipurpose turf fields will support tournament play across a range of sports, including baseball, soccer, football, lacrosse, and track and field.

The development will also include two full-service hotels totaling over 1,100 rooms and 350,000 square feet of dining, retail, and entertainment space arranged along a pedestrian-oriented riverwalk. The project is structured around a “one-campus, one-cost” model, designed to reduce the travel and lodging burden for families attending youth tournaments.

The development team notes that the complex is positioned to meet surging demand in the youth sports tourism sector, which is projected to exceed $2 trillion globally by 2030. They view the project as a model for consolidating competition, accommodations, and recreation into a cohesive experience that prioritizes accessibility and convenience.

In addition to private amenities, the complex will include an inclusive playground, an area for Miracle League programming, and shared access to sports fields for the City of Ocoee when tournaments are not in session. A public extension of 17th Avenue is also planned as part of the site’s infrastructure improvements.

The Ocoee City Commission unanimously approved the necessary land-use changes and rezoning for the site in early 2025. The project is expected to generate more than 10,000 construction jobs and 5,000 permanent roles. While construction was initially anticipated to begin earlier this year, it is now expected to break ground soon, with completion targeted for 2027.
