The development team behind Surf Row Residences, LD&D in partnership with ONE Capital and IGEQ, has pledged $1 million toward enhancing the surrounding streetscape and public amenities near the project site in Surfside. The funds will support the revitalization of a stretch of 88th Street, as well as upgrades to Veterans Park and its adjacent tennis courts.
The planned improvements will transform the area directly in front of the future condominium development with the addition of pedestrian-friendly pavers, shade landscaping, and a new architectural feature at the corner of 88th Street and Collins Avenue. The structure, described as a fluted stone landmark with a tranquil water element—is designed to serve as a visual and experiential gateway to the neighborhood.

“Surfside isn’t just where we’re building — it’s a community we’re actively contributing to,” said Alejandro Bonet, managing partner of LD&D. “This effort reflects our belief that great design should extend beyond the property line, bringing lasting value to neighbors and future residents alike.”

Enhancements to Veterans Park, which houses Surfside’s community tennis courts, will include both physical upgrades and community programming, such as resident tennis lessons. These improvements aim to provide locals with a tangible way to engage with and benefit from the initiative. The streetscape redesign will also establish a cohesive pedestrian route connecting Harding Avenue to the shoreline, integrating with the planned Champlain Memorial to the south.

Surf Row Residences will feature a collection of 24 boutique condominiums ranging from one to three bedrooms, with interiors spanning between 894 and 2,004 square feet. Residents will also have access to approximately 6,400 square feet of resort-style amenities. Located just steps from the beach and Surfside’s town center, the development is positioned to offer a blend of coastal living and neighborhood connectivity. Sales are being handled exclusively by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
