First Phase of ‘Ekos at Bayonet Point’ Scheduled for 2026 Completion at 7555 McDowell Way, Hudson, Florida

McDowell Housing Partners (MHP) is moving forward with another multi-family housing development under the Ekos banner.

Ekos at Bayonet Point, located in Pasco County, will comprise a total of 360 units in three phases. According to Connect CRE, the first phase will offer 114 homes in four stories; they will be reserved for seniors earning at or below 60 percent of the area median income (AMI). The 2024 U.S. Census shares that Pasco County’s median household income was $67,384.

The first phase’s homes will offer one-bedroom units spanning 650 to 700 square feet; in-unit include low-flow plumbing fixtures, energy-efficient appliances, and other “green” features. Outdoor communal amenities include a swimming pool and dog park; indoor amenities include an arts and crafts center and gym. Construction on Ekos at Bayonet Point’s first phase is already underway and scheduled to finish in the third quarter of 2026.

Yield PRO notes that Ekos at Bayonet Point’s second phase is currently in its final design stage. It will feature 120 affordable housing units for seniors. The third phase will comprise 126 units, intended for both seniors and families.
