Construction is moving forward on The Berkeley Palm Beach, a 25-story condominium development underway at 601 and 621 Clearwater Park Road, facing Clear Lake in West Palm Beach. The tower is being developed by Australian Property Group, led by Al Adelson, in partnership with Sympatico Real Estate. Adelson previously led the development of The Bristol, a nearby condominium completed in 2019.

The development team secured a $30 million construction loan in May 2025 from West Palm Beach-based WPC US LLC. The loan covers the 1.92-acre site, which broke ground in December 2024. Adelson assembled the nearly two-acre development site in transactions recorded in 2021 and 2022, paying a combined total of $13.8 million, according to public records.

A recent post from the project’s official Instagram account confirmed that earthwork and site preparation are actively ongoing.

The 25-story condo development will house 193 units at 500 South Australian Avenue, directly west of the CityPlace open-air complex. Units will range from approximately 2,500 square feet for two-bedroom layouts to 4,800 square feet for five-bedroom residences. Prices start just under $2 million, with an average price of about $3.5 million.

Residences are designed with east-to-west flow-through layouts, offering sunrise and sunset exposures. Each unit includes expansive private terraces. Interior finishes feature Italian-crafted Snaidero kitchens, spa-style bathrooms, and integrated smart-home systems. Many units also include additional rooms that may serve as offices, media rooms, or flexible spaces. A fully furnished model residence is available on-site for prospective buyers.

Designed by Arquitectonica, the building includes a multi-level amenity program. The seventh floor will feature a pool, spa, fitness center, teen lounge, and a children’s play area. The rooftop will include an adult pool, private dining room, cigar lounge, and nightclub. Other features planned for the building include wellness studios, a golf simulator, indoor lounges, a gourmet resident market, full-time concierge, and valet services.

The location provides direct access to I-95 and Palm Beach International Airport, with connectivity to Palm Beach Island via Australian Avenue. Nearby destinations include the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, The Square, Cleveland Clinic, Ross headquarters, and upcoming additions such as Eataly and Vanderbilt University’s graduate campus.

The Berkeley Palm Beach is one of several new residential developments in West Palm Beach, which has seen growing interest from both residents and businesses. While the town of Palm Beach has had limited new condominium construction in recent years, West Palm Beach has experienced notable population growth and a rise in financial sector activity. Additional updates on vertical construction and project completion are expected later this year.

  1. Arquitectonica‘s designs are getting old. Time to ditch the waves.

I’ll take the waves over none at all, which is what you have more of throughout Florida.

      • It’s still a glorified box. Stop Miami-ing West Palm Beach with your mediocre designs, Arquitectonica! One West Palm is bad enough…
