Terra and Frisbie Group are moving forward with Westgate Village, a mixed-use development on the site of the former Palm Beach Kennel Club. The three-phase project, which is anticipated to reach completion in 2032, will comprise 1,145 residences. The phases will yield 400, 340, and 405 units, respectively.
According to the Real Deal, Westgate Village will feature workforce housing; about 20 percent of the homes in the first phase will be designated as such. In addition to the residential aspect, the multi-million-dollar endeavor is slated to have 120,000 square feet of retail and commercial space.
As noted, Terra and Frisbie Group are the project’s developers. The Florida-based firms purchased a 16-acre site for $20.9 million to make the project possible. Urban Design Studio is involved in Westgate Village’s design.
Terra has many projects in its pipeline. It has plans for the redevelopment of the Deauville Beach Resort in North Beach. The venture involves the construction of a residential tower; it’s anticipated to generate $16 million in revenue annually for the city. Terra also secured financing for the first phase of Centro City, a 38-acre mixed-use development in Miami’s West Little Havana neighborhood.
Westgate Village is slated for 1111 North Congress Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33409, in Palm Beach County.
