META Development has announced Colette Residences, a boutique five-story condominium planned for 1870 and 1880 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s South Brickell neighborhood. The development will introduce an intimate collection of 38 residences, including two signature penthouses, and marks the firm’s continued focus on human-centered design through its “Go Boutique” philosophy.

Designed by OSPA, a Brazilian architecture firm known for its refined and contemporary work, Colette features two- to four-bedroom layouts starting at 2,145 square feet, with pricing from $3.3 million. Residences are designed to blur the line between indoor and outdoor living, incorporating natural materials and lush landscaping throughout the building’s low-rise structure.

META Development, led by Andrew Rasken, acquired the 0.8-acre site in 2024 for $10.7 million. The property is partially vacant and partially occupied by a single-family home. The firm selected Eklund | Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman Development Marketing as the exclusive sales team.

“Colette represents the next evolution of our philosophy, curating residences that feel personal, tailored, and refined,” said Andrew Rasken, Founder and CEO of META Development. “In a district known for its high-rise energy, Colette is intentionally exclusive, designed for those who value a calmer, more connected way of living without compromising on personalized design, comfort, or amenities.”

The building’s amenity program spans approximately 5,000 square feet of interior space and 7,000 square feet of outdoor areas, including a 50-foot pool, private cabanas, and a 5,200-square-foot sun deck. Additional amenities will include a wellness spa with jacuzzi, steam room, and saunas, a screening room, children’s playroom, and meeting room. Each residence will have a private storage unit and covered self-parking for two or three vehicles with EV charging provisions. Valet service will also be available to residents.

“Miami buyers are increasingly looking for boutique-scale projects that combine privacy with sophistication,” said Fredrik Eklund, co-founder of the Eklund | Gomes Team. “Colette delivers exactly that, an intimate collection of residences in one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods, offering global design, bespoke amenities, and the lifestyle today’s buyers want.”

As part of the developer’s broader commitment to community engagement, the firm will donate $10,000 for every residence sold at Colette to Friendship Circle of Miami. The sales gallery, scheduled to open in November in Coconut Grove, will feature a scale model, model kitchen, bathroom, and powder room, along with an interactive digital platform showcasing floor plans and virtual tours.

Completion is expected in summer 2028.

  1. Street level facade is unattractive and does not provide enough set back. The entire project is ho-hum despite the hefty price tag.

  2. Are those movable panels, or are they cluttered windows on this squat box? How about something with symmetry and not boorish architecture you can find anywhere? The St. Regis Residences should have set the standard.

  3. The rendering is awful looking, really. Not pretty. It kinda looks like a Trumped up version of an old Best Western Inn. And THIS firm was chosen for construction of THAT look? 🙄😬
    Not a fan.🫤

  4. @FairGrace, I think you are referring to the built 2200 Brickell. This article is regarding a smaller fenced area only. Construction is far off as of October 2025.

  5. EVERY ONE HAS THERE OWN STYLE. WHY THE NEGATIVITY. I HOPE YOU OWN OR JAVE BUILT SOMETHING IN THE AREA SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVEN’T HENCE THE NEGATIVE OPINIONS
