Cipriani Residences Miami continues its steady vertical rise at 1420 South Miami Avenue, reaching the halfway mark of construction as the structure climbs past its 44th level. Developed by Mast Capital, the 80-story, approximately 940-foot-tall tower is designed by Arquitectonica, with interiors by 1508 London, structural engineering by Thornton Tomasetti, and Moss Construction serving as the general contractor. The project marks the first ground-up residential building by the world-renowned Cipriani brand in the Americas, bringing its signature blend of hospitality and design to the heart of Miami’s Financial District. Upon completion in 2028, the tower will introduce 397 residences and an extensive amenity program.

Recent aerial photographs captured high above Brickell show the reinforced concrete superstructure steadily advancing as crews continue forming and pouring new levels. At the time of photography, the tower had reached its 44th floor, with the 37th floor recently completed, marking the future location of the resident-only Cipriani speakeasy. CMU walls are a few stories behind the active floor plates, and the glass installation is not far behind. The uppermost level reveals dense clusters of formwork systems, rebar cages, and shoring systems beneath it as crews prepare for the next slab pours and continue to shape the floors that will define the tower’s midpoint.

The tower is climbing one level every three working days, one of the fastest vertical construction paces in Miami’s history. Behind this momentum is a next-generation self-climbing slip form system, an advanced hydraulic technology that allows the building’s core to ascend continuously without crane dependency. The method maximizes efficiency and precision, enabling the structure to rise safely and at remarkable speed while maintaining structural accuracy throughout the process.

“This is a pivotal moment that represents far more than the halfway mark toward the building’s crown,” said Camilo Miguel, Jr., CEO and Founder of Mast Capital. “With the completion of the 37th floor, we are celebrating our work redefining luxury living through record-setting vertical scale and lifestyle-driven design. We are also proving that our ambition is matched by our commitment to a swift delivery, as construction moves perfectly on schedule.”

Cipriani Residences Miami will include a 50,000-square-foot amenity collection featuring a resident-only speakeasy lounge, a private Cipriani restaurant, 24-hour in-home dining, a resort-style pool deck, and a luxury spa with treatment rooms and sauna. Additional planned amenities include a pickleball court, golf simulator, screening room, and multiple areas dedicated to wellness, recreation, and leisure, providing a comprehensive range of private spaces for residents.

The tower will feature 397 one- to four-bedroom residences with interiors designed by 1508 London to reflect the Cipriani brand. The top 18 floors will comprise The Canaletto Collection, a limited assemblage of six penthouses and 74 ultra-luxury homes. The Canaletto Collection offers priority access to the speakeasy and other amenities, as well as global concierge services by BHB and optional custom furniture and accessory packages created by 1508 London in two distinct styles.

Sales and marketing are handled exclusively by Fortune Development Sales, with residences starting from $1.7 million and The Canaletto Collection starting from $4.1 million. Construction remains on schedule for completion in 2028.

  1. As quickly as this tower rises, it is sort of confusing as to why it will not be completed until 2028…

    • It will top off in the first half of next year, but the interior work (electrical, a/c, plumbing, etc) will take until 2028.

  2. I believe the Cipriani residences has up to three towers, meaning that the entire complex is going to be completed at around 2028. It looks like the tallest tower, with about two floors per week, would be structurally topped out at around late January or early February 2026, and two other towers will be built later.
