Florida YIMBY has an update regarding Gallery Haus, a high-rise multi-family housing development set for Downtown St. Petersburg.
The finalized plans call for a 28-story tower featuring 254 apartments, many of which are luxury studio apartments spanning about 500 square feet. It will host more than 10,000 square feet of amenities, one of which is a 5,000-square-foot fitness center. That venture, decked out with steam rooms and cold plunge pools, may be available to the public via a subscription. Residents would have access include in their amenity package.
Other offerings include a resort-style swimming pool on the sixth floor and rock climbing wall. In addition to the residential aspect, Gallery Haus will also include 7,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

LD&D is the developer. It’s partnered with IGEQ and Black Salmon on the project. LD&D purchased the 0.77-acre build site for about $9 million in 2023. KAST Construction is the general contractor; it hopes to start vertical construction in spring 2026 and finish the project two years later in 2028.
Baker Barrios Architects designed the project. The firm also designed Astor Park, a two-tower mixed-use development in Fort Lauderdale. The 12-story towers topped out in October.
Gallery Haus is undergoing sitework at 155 17th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33712, in Pinellas County.
