Mattamy Homes has plans for a residential development in St. Petersburg’s historic Old Pasadena neighborhood.

SeaWinds is a multi-phase project that will span three sites. The first phase will comprise 20 single-family homes measuring 2,156 to 2,357 square feet; the second phase will host 40 townhomes; and the third phase will feature sixteen 20-foot-wide townhomes.

The venture will offer a mix of single-family residence and townhomes. Image by Mattamy Homes via St. Pete Rising

Every residence will feature a private courtyard and two-car garage. Construction is anticipated to start on SeaWinds in spring 2026, with sales and model homes expected to launch later that summer. Before sitework can begin, Mattamy Homes must close on a three-acre site that currently hosts the Pasadena Community Church School. The firm purchased the other two sites for a combined $6.2 million in October and November of this year.

Mattamy Homes is the largest privately-owned homebuilder in North America, and it’s completed many communities in the Sunshine State. In October 2023, the Canada-based firm unveiled Sienna, a luxury residential community in Cooper City

SeaWinds will span three sites: 70th Street South and 1st Avenue South; 71st Street South and 1st Avenue South; and Pasadena Avenue South and Mango Avenue South, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33707, in Pinellas County.
