Property Markets Group (PMG) has announced a major construction milestone for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami at 300 Biscayne Boulevard. Miami’s first supertall tower has completed the concrete pour for its 50th level, marking the halfway point of vertical construction for the planned 100-story, 1,049-foot structure. Once completed, it will become the tallest residential building south of New York City. The tower is being designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Carlos Ott, with interiors by BAMO. The development team includes Property Markets Group and Greybrook Realty Partners, alongside Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development, and Hilton. John Moriarty & Associates is serving as the general contractor.
PMG’s PR team provided YIMBY with recent ground and aerial photos of construction progress. Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami is rising at an average rate of one floor every 10 days. The tower is composed of nine offset glass cubes arranged in a spiraling vertical formation, producing a distinct silhouette within the Miami skyline. Four of the cubes are now visible as the superstructure continues to ascend. For context, the Vizcayne condominium towers directly across the street, rise 49 stories and 538 feet, illustrating the dramatic height difference the Waldorf Astoria will achieve once the full 100-story profile is complete.

The project occupies a prominent site at the northwest corner of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast Third Street, directly across from Bayfront Park. The development will include 387 private residences and 205 hotel rooms, owned and managed by Hilton Management Services. Hotel programming and amenity areas will be located within the lower cubes, including gathering spaces, event rooms, and resident facilities.

Private residential amenities will include an owner’s lobby and lounge, a hospitality suite for small gatherings and chef demonstrations, a billiard room, a children’s club, and an elevated pool deck reserved for residents. Each residence is planned to incorporate smart-home technology with mobile app access to concierge services. The private roof deck will include a pool, swim-up tiki bar, outdoor gym, and courts for basketball, racquetball, and pickleball.

Hotel guests and residents will also have access to additional amenity spaces, including Peacock Alley, a specialty restaurant, indoor and outdoor event areas, meeting rooms and boardrooms, a resort-style pool deck with private cabanas, and a dedicated spa and fitness center.
Located along Biscayne Bay, the tower is planned to offer 360-degree views spanning Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, and the Atlantic Ocean. PMG reports that the project is more than 90 percent sold, with limited availability remaining in the Sky and Penthouse Collection.
