Completion of 264-Unit ‘The Aston at Longleaf’ Planned for 2028 at Preserve Drive and Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida

A new multi-family housing development is slated for Brevard County. Upon completion, the venture will yield five buildings.

The Aston at Longleaf is slated to comprise four residential buildings and offer 264 units. Floorplans will span a mix of studio to three-bedroom apartments, with the cost of rent ranging from $1,800 to $2,600 a month.

In-unit features will include private patios/balconies, energy-efficient appliances, and quartz countertops. Most communal amenities at The Aston at Longleaf will be centered around the standalone 10,000-square-foot clubhouse. That aspect will include a fitness center, sports simulator, and social areas. Other amenities include a resort-style swimming pool.

The first units are expected to come online in late 2027, with the entirety of The Aston at Longleaf slated for a 2028 completion. Construction itself is already underway. FaverGray is the general contractor. Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer; FK Architecture designed the venture.

Eastwind Development is the developer. The Palm Beach Gardens-based firm intends to spend more than $45.5 million to make The Aston at Longleaf possible. Sources report that upon completion, The Aston at Longleaf would be valued at more than $80 million.

It’s slated for a vacant 17-acre site at Preserve Drive and North Wickham Road, Melbourne, Florida, 32935, in Brevard County.
