Pinecrest-based MMG Equity Partners is proceeding with a mixed-use development in West Kendall.
Coral Nest will feature both residential and retail aspects. Regarding the homes: plans call for 38 two-story townhouses, with floorplans including three-bedroom and four-bedroom models. Specifically, there will be eight three-bedroom/two-and-a-half bath units, 22 four-bedroom/two-and-a-half bath units, and eight four-bedroom/three-bathroom units. Every residence will come with a private garage.
Homes will span 1,615 to 1,826 square feet each, and in-unit features will include impact-grade windows, high-end appliances, and various energy-efficient upgrades. The townhomes are currently priced from $650,000.
Regarding the retail aspect: Coral Nest will host close to 25,000 square feet of retail, with frontage facing Coral Way. Some of the tenants will include a supermarket and fast casual restaurant.
MMG Equity Partners recently secured $21.5 million in construction financing from Seacoast National Bank to help fund the project. The former purchased Coral Nest’s 6.5-acre build site for $7.5 million in 2025. Coral Nest’s retail aspect will occupy 3.5 acres, while the remaining three acres will host the townhomes.
C4 Legacy Builders Group is the general contractor.
Coral Nest is planned for the northwest corner of Southwest 26th Street/Coral Way and Southwest 144th Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33175, in Miami-Dade County.
