Florida YIMBY has an update regarding an affordable housing venture we covered back in 2023. Our initial report shared that Related Urban Development Group was planning a two-tower project that would yield more than 400 apartments. Now, not only is the project currently under construction, but the developer has secured $167.1 million in construction financing to further push the project to completion.

Gallery at Lummus Parc is slated to comprise two phases. The first will deliver 257 units, with floorplans spanning studio to two-bedroom layouts. About 80 percent of the units would be designated as affordable housing for households earning within 20 to 100 percent of the area median income (AMI). Multi-Housing News reports that there would also be 51 Project-Based Voucher apartments and six Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) units.
Amenities will include a rooftop swimming pool, fitness center, and pickleball court. There will also be a five-story parking structure. The second phase of Gallery at Lummus Parc will host 182 residences. The project’s two towers will measure 27 and 30 stories. Cohen Freedman Encinosa is the architect.
The first phase of Gallery at Lummus Parc is set for a 2028 completion. It is located at 395 NW First St., Miami, Florida, 33128, in Miami-Dade County.
