Dependable Equities hopes to move forward with a mixed-use complex in Broward County, Florida. Dubbed “the Ombelle,” the venture will offer 1,100 homes in two 43-story towers. Records show that the towers will measure 493 feet high. Plans also call for over 11,000 square feet of commercial space.
Per the South Florida Business Journal, the Ombelle will offer studios to two-bedroom units. They measure from about 410 square feet to 1,029 square feet each. Sources note that the multi-million-dollar venture will comprise more than one million square feet of new construction, with the amenity deck alone comprising 75,000 square feet.
Amenities include two swimming pools, a library, game room, fitness center, dance studio, yoga studio, and more. The Ombelle itself is located in Flagler Village, just moments away from many of the area’s amenities. For instance, it’s just a short drive away from Holiday Park, which offers a dog park, children’s playground, and walking trail.
As noted, Dependable Equities owns the venture. It acquired the 1.98-acre lot in 2021 for $27 million. ODA Architecture designed the complex. Conceptual renderings show that the towers are connected by a podium. ODA Architecture designed the towers in the contemporary architectural style with a mostly glass exterior.
Other parties in the venture include Flynn Engineering Services (the civil engineer) and Witkin Hults Design Group (the landscape architect). The Ombelle’s address is 300 Northeast 3rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33301, in Broward County.
