Miami, Florida, will soon be home to a new Virgin hotel. Dubbed “Virgin Hotels Miami,” the 40-story building will offer close to 250 rooms, all designed after the venture’s signature brand. The hotel will also offer 15,000 square feet of amenity space, including a spa, meeting space, and an entertainment venue.
The development will also host an array of bars and restaurants, namely, the Funny Library Common Club. This will offer communal work spaces “with an assortment of whimsical and funny books and games,” per the venture’s website. Construction has not started on the hotel. However, developers expect to finish the venture by winter 2025.
Sources report that the venture will cost more than $120 million to complete. Blue Jay Capital LLC is the project’s owner. Blur Workshop is the architect. Conceptual renderings show a high-rise building with multiple swimming pools and a glass-paneled conservatory.
Virgin Hotels Miami is just one of many Virgin hotels unfolding in the country right now. A similar venture recently ended construction in New York City, offering more than 450 rooms.
Virgin Hotels Miami’s address is 1040 South Miami Avenue, Miami, Florida, 33130, in Miami-Dade County. The venture’s located in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood and east of I-95.
