Elevation Pointe to Offer Homes and Retail Ventures in St. Augustine, Florida

Elevation Pointe is a massive mixed-used development planned for St. Augustine, Florida. The venture will offer residences, commercial enterprises, and more on a 190-acre lot. It’ll cost about $395 million to complete.

Elevation Pointe will comprise 430 townhomes, 320 apartments, 240 hotel rooms, and 190,000 square feet of commercial/retail use. Sources report that construction was slated to begin in August 2021, although that hasn’t been confirmed.

The venture will feature apartments, townhomes, and retail stores.

Renderings show that the apartments will be housed in five buildings measuring four stories above grade. Amenities in that complex include a swimming pool and fitness area. The townhomes could measure one to two stories, nestled in the middle of a wetlands reservation area. That community will offer a host of amenities, including a multi-use field, dog park, clubhouse, swimming pool, and recreational area.

Finally, the retail aspect will host at least five separate businesses. Those spaces measure one to 5.4 acres each, with many spaces still available for rent or lease.  Elevation Development, LLC is the venture’s owner. Kimley-Horn Engineers is the civil contractor. Sources do not list a general contractor at this time.

Construction was expected to start in 2021.

Elevation at St. Augustine has its residential communities separated, meaning one cannot easily walk from one development to the other. The project’s address is listed as CR 208 and SR-16, St. Augustine. Florida, 32092, in St. Johns County.

  1. There is no there there………lifeless sprawl at it’s worst. bunker like housing layout.
    dreary dreary dreary site planning.

  2. I agree with the comment above. Too much traffic in that area now, road construction not complete and a total lack of current residents of the county. Traffic is out of control in that general area. Adding apartments and more homes…creates a lot more traffic. Crazy.

The traffic is horrible in this area. The school k-8 school is way over capacity. Please vote out commissioners and elect people like me who want to slow the growth and give our infrastructure a chance to catch up!
