OT Property Group recently acquired a 5-acre site for $8.4 million in Pompano Beach, Florida. Now, it hopes to move forward with Old Town Towers, which will rest on 2.3 acres.
Per the South Florida Business Journal, the venture will offer two stories: one measuring six stories and the other measuring 10. Connected by a pedestrian bridge, the community will offer 319 rental apartments, measuring about 570 square feet to 1,152 square feet each.
Layout plans range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom homes. Communal amenities include a swimming pool, fitness center, pet spa, and movie lounge. In addition to the apartments, plans call for 3,600 square feet of commercial space, with Old Town Towers itself requiring 523,000 square feet of new construction.
Adache Group Architects is currently seeking approval for the venture. If approved, it could start construction within a year. Before that starts, the general contractor must demolish the Christ Church United Methodist. It spans 54,000 square feet and was founded in 1970. Sources note that the historic George Foster Chapel will be relocated to Centennial Park.
Old Town Towers’ address is 210 N.E. Third St., Pompano Beach, Florida, 33060, in Broward County. It’s east of I-95 and west of Pompano Beach Community Park.
