Terraces at 87th in St. Petersburg hopes to officially open in early 2024. But what is it? According to St. Pete Rising, Terraces at 87th is a neighborhood of 92 three-story townhomes.
Per the venture’s website, layout plans range from three-bedroom to four-bedroom units, measuring 3,366 square feet. Each home comes with a bottom floor parking garage and a rooftop amenity deck with a Jacuzzi and covered terrace.
Each three-story townhome comes with a rooftop Jacuzzi.
In-unit features include gas stovetops and pre-wired smart home infrastructure. Communal amenities include a fenced-in dog park, swimming pool, courtyards, and sundeck.
Initially, plans for Terraces at 87th was to feature 72 townhomes and a 40-unit apartment building. However, plans changed after market research revealed that demand for townhomes overpowered the demand for rental-based housing.
There will be 92 townhomes.
Belleair Development Group is the developer. It purchased the build site in 2018 for $3.4 million. Before the start of construction, the build site was home to Lamplight Village, a 112-unit mobile home park.
Oceanfront Realty lists Jovanovic & Lyons, a St. Petersburg-based firm, as the architect. Terraces at 87th will be located at 8700 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL, 33702, in Pinellas County. The community is east of Florida 275 and west of Weedon Island Preserve.
