New Nickelodeon-Themed Hotel in the Works for Central FL

Cartoon lovers remember the Nickelodeon Hotel, a nostalgic Disney-area hotel that operated from 2005 to 2018. Now, about five years after the hotel’s closing, Nickelodeon has plans for a comeback.

Per the Orlando Sentinel, the new and improved Nickelodeon Hotel will “bring a modern design with pops of green and orange to the otherwise classic Spanish Mediterranean architecture of Everest Place.” The project calls for an 11-story hotel complex with two interconnected towers, with the hotel itself requiring 543,000 square feet of new construction.

Condos range from studios to two-bedroom units.

The hotel tower will offer 211 guest rooms, along with 181 condos. The condos range from studios to two-bedroom units. The venture’s website notes that residences measure 505 square feet to 1,151 square feet. The largest can accommodate up to nine adults. Sources indicate that condos cost $375,000 to $900,000.

The themed rooms come in different styles, with some featuring SpongeBob SquarePants, and others offering Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Communal amenities at the hotel include a swimming pool, lazy river, and an amphitheater. There’s also the state-of-the-art Slimunator where, as the name suggests, guests can get slimed.

We don’t know the hotel/condo’s exact address at this time. Yet, we know that it will be off Everest Place Boulevard in Central Florida.
