Continuum Company has expanded its presence in North Bay Village by acquiring Shuckers Waterfront Bar & Grill and Best Western On The Bay Inn & Marina (now known as North Bay Inn Miami) at 1819 and 1855 79th Street Causeway. This acquisition, supported by a $67.5 million loan from Longline Financial, extends Continuum’s waterfront footprint to 4.5 acres, adjacent to its latest development, Continuum Club & Residences. The restaurant and hotel will remain operational.

Continuum recently launched Continuum Club & Residences, a 32-story bayfront condominium featuring 198 residences. The project, designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Durukan Design and landscaping by Martha Schwartz Partners (MSP), offers spacious floor plans and private wrap-around terraces for sunset to sunrise views. The residences include state-of-the-art kitchens with Subzero/Wolf appliances, custom European cabinetry, culinary islands, and quartz countertops. Primary baths feature marble stone flooring, dual rainfall showerheads with water views, arched mirrors, and Dornbracht fittings, blending style and functionality.

“Securing Shuckers Waterfront Bar & Grill and Best Western On The Bay Inn & Marina demonstrates Continuum’s confidence in the promising future of North Bay Village,” said Alexandra Eichner, president of Continuum Florida. “This premier acquisition marks a significant milestone in bringing that vision for North Bay Village’s exciting development to life.”

“The vision for North Bay Village is exactly the same as the Continuum on South Beach 20 years ago. We saw a substantially undervalued oceanfront development opportunity and then transformed the neighborhood into one of the most coveted places to live” said Ian Bruce Eichner, Chairman and CEO of Continuum Company. “And this waterfront island address is surrounded by the best of Miami; the Beaches, Bal Harbor Shops, Wynwood, Design District, Culture and Dining, Schools and Country Clubs.”
