Riverside Wharf Wins Unanimous Support from Miami City Commission, Awaits Voter Referendum For Land Lease Extension

After the City of Miami Commission’s unanimous decision to move ahead with the Riverside Wharf master plan, Miami voters will have the opportunity to vote “yes” to extend the land lease for the development which will pave the way for Riverside Wharf to become a longstanding part of the Miami River community. Riverside Wharf, developed by MV Real Estate Holdings (MVREH), in conjunction with Driftwood Capital and Merrimac Ventures, is a $185M hospitality-driven entertainment complex along the historic Miami River. The 10-story, 1.5-acre development will rise as a world-class entertainment destination expected to usher in a new era for the River District by providing a new home for Wharf Miami, as well as brand new dining and nightlife concepts and a 165-key Dream Miami hotel that will be an amenity for the city and attract continued growth to the undeveloped riverfront neighborhood. Construction for this development is slated to start in the second quarter of 2023.

Permits Filed For The Crosby Miami Worldcenter At 601 North Miami Avenue

New construction permits have been filed for The Crosby Miami Worldcenter, a 33-story residential building slated for the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter 10-block mixed-use complex in Park West, Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by Related Group and Merrimac Ventures under the DT G Block LLC, the 376-foot-tall will yield 450 fully finished and furnished condominium units spread across 387,355 square feet with interiors by AvroKO, as well as 3,370 square feet of general retail space. Beauchamp Construction Co., Inc. is the general contractor for the project, which is addressed as 601 North Miami Avenue.

Merrimac Ventures Files Plans For 30-Story ArtsPark Lofts In Flagler Village, Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale’s Development Review Committee (DRC) is scheduled to consider and review plans for ArtsPark Lofts, a 30-story mixed-use multifamily and commercial development proposed for 407 North Andrews Avenue in Flagler Village near the Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station. Designed by FSMY Architects & Planners with landscape architecture and civil engineering by KEITH and developed by Merrimac Ventures (Merrimac), a Fort Lauderdale-based development firm led by brothers Dev and Nitin Motwani, the project comprises 396,757 square feet of space including 289 residential units, 1,914 square feet of commercial space and a 6-story parking garage integrated into the podium for 359 vehicles. The DRC is scheduled to review the proposal for ArtsPark Lofts on Tuesday July 26, 2022

Additional Renderings Released For 31-Story The Crosby At Miami Worldcenter

Additional renderings have surfaced of the recently announced The Crosby, a 31-story residential tower planned to rise at 601 North Miami Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter complex in the Park West neighborhood of Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed between the Related Group, one of South Florida’s most active condo developers, and Merrimac Ventures led by the Motwani Brothers, the development will include 450 fully-furnished units with interiors by New York City-based AvroKO, ranging between 350 square feet to 825 square feet. Units will come in studio, one-bedroom and two bedroom floor plans accompanied by over 22,000 square feet of amenities and 4,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space. Residences at The Crosby will have no rental restrictions, meaning owners will have the option to offer their units as short-term rentals.
