A permit for vertical construction has been filed for Riverside Wharf, a $185 million luxury mixed-use development planned for 114 Southwest North River Drive in Downtown Miami. Designed by highly-acclaimed architecture firm Cube3 Architects with interiors by world-renowned iCrave and landscape design by Savino-Miller Design Studio, and developed by a joint venture partnership between MV Real Estate Holdings, Driftwood Capital, and Merrimac Ventures, plans for the project include the construction of a 10-story building across 1.5-acres that will serve as a world-class entertainment destination expected to usher in a new era for the River District, providing a new home for Wharf Miami.

Developers File FAA Building Permits For The Crosby At Miami Worldcenter

The Federal Aviation Administration is reviewing building permit applications for The Crosby, a 33-story mixed-use building planned at 601 North Miami Avenue within the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter mixed-use complex in Park West, Downtown Miami. Designed by Cohen Freedman Encinosa & Associates and developed by Related Group and Merrimac Ventures under the DT G Block LLC, the project will yield 450 fully finished and furnished condominium units spread across 387,355 square feet with interiors by AvroKO, as well as 22,000 square feet of amenities and 3,370 square feet of retail space. Beauchamp Construction is the general contractor for the project.

Developers Acquire Last Miami Worldcenter Development Site For 600+ Unit Condo Project

A joint venture between Miami-based Aria Development Group and Fort Lauderdale-based Merrimac Ventures has acquired the last remaining parcels of land at the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter mixed-use district in Downtown Miami. The 34,800-square-foot assemblage includes a 24,000-square-foot site at 33, 45, and 55 Northwest 6th Street known as The Miami Link, acquired from I L A Employers Welfare Fund SE FL Ports Inc. (International Longshoremen’s Association) for $11 million, and a 10,800-square-foot-site at 600 Northeast 1st Avenue, acquired from Miami SPE LLC for $6.5 million, bringing the total acquisition cost to $17.5 million. The developers are planning a residential condominium tower with over 600 units across as many as 32 floors. Revuelta Architecture International is the design architect, and The Design Agency is handing interior design.

Merrimac Ventures, one of South Florida’s leading real estate development firms led by brothers Dev and Nitin Motwani, acquired a development assemblage near the Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station to build ArtsPark Lofts, a 30-story mixed-use multifamily and commercial development planned for 407 North Andrews Avenue in Flagler Village. Designed by FSMY Architects & Planners with landscape architecture and civil engineering by KEITH, the project comprises 396,757 square feet of space, including 289 residential units, 1,914 square feet of commercial space, and a 6-story parking garage for 359 vehicles. Merrimac paid $8.5 million for the 0.73-acre site that includes 421, 413, and 407 North Andrews Avenue.
