Fort Lauderdale-based BTI Partners has reached a significant milestone with the topping-off of The Bread Building, a 25-story apartment tower at 1740 South Young Circle in downtown Hollywood. The redevelopment of the former Hollywood Bread Building site will bring 362 luxury apartments and 16,000 square feet of retail space to the city’s vibrant heart. Modis Architects is the design architect, Adache Group Architects is the architect of record, and Bliss & Nyitray is the structural engineer Witkin Hults + Partners is the landscape architect, KEITH is the civil engineer, and JALRW Engineering Group is the MEP engineer Civic Construction is the general contractor.

Proposal Reveals Plans For A 7-Story Mixed-Use Project At 2390 NW 62nd Street In Brownsville, Miami-Dade County

Plans have been filed to redevelop a 0.71-acre assemblage near the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Metrorail train station in Brownsville, Miami-Dade County. Designed by Miami-based architecture firm Modis Architects and developed by WN Development, LLC, led by Claudio Nigro, the proposed 7-story development would replace an existing one-story structure located at 2390 Northwest 62nd Street, between Northwest 24th Avenue and Northwest 23rd Court. The location is currently designated for commercial land use and falls within the boundaries of the Model City Urban Center mixed-use corridor, while the building would offer 1,876 square feet of retail space and 105 dwelling units, with 47 surface parking spaces for retail and residential purposes.

Fort Lauderdale-based BTI Partners and Salt Lake City-based Bridge Investment Group have secured an $83 million construction loan from Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce for a new 25-story mixed-use development in Downtown Hollywood’s Central Business District. The development site, acquired by the developers in 2021 for $11 million, was once home to the long-neglected and now demolished Hollywood Bread Building. Located at 1727-1745 Van Buren Street, 1700-1716 Harrison Street and 1740-1760 South Young Circle, the redevelopment of the site is an important step in the revitalization of the west end of Downtown Hollywood anchored by the 10-acre ArtsPark at Young Circle. The new development will yield 362 market-rate apartments and about 16,000 square feet of retail space, designed by Adache Group Architects and Modis Architects.
