Brightline Breaks Ground On Zyscovich Architects-Designed Boca Raton Station

Brightline, the only provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in America, breaks ground on its new Boca Raton station with Kaufman Lynn Construction, Inc. as the
construction manager for the garage and train station. Once completed, the station will be Brightline’s fifth operational in Florida, connecting travelers from Boca Raton to Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and soon Orlando. Located on a 1.8-acre site across from Mizner Park and adjacent to the downtown library, Brightline’s Boca station, designed by Zyscovich Architects, will feature approximately 38,000 square feet of space which will include its signature autonomous MRKT and premium lounge among other station amenities. The station will offer a seamless travel experience through modern technology, including a cashless environment, touchless turnstiles and high-speed WiFi. Brightline’s Boca station is expected to be complete in the fall of 2022.

Applications Filed For Two 331-Foot-Tall Buildings At 203 S. Tamarind Avenue In West Palm Beach

Applications have been filed with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for two 331-foot-tall buildings located at 203 South Tamarind Avenue and 150 Clearwater Drive in West Palm Beach. The filings are in relation to a 10-acre transit-oriented development known as Transit Village, which is being led by principal Michael Masonoff and developed in a joint partnership with Globe Invest Limited, the Related Group and BH Group. Approved plans for Transit Village include the development of up to 1.5 million square feet including 308,000 square feet of Class-A office space, a 300-key hotel, 24,000 square feet of retail space, 408 residential units, 12 live-work townhouses and 3,500 square feet of civic/community space. Dallas-based The Beck Group is the architect behind the most recent renderings of the project, which is expected to cost in the range of $500 million to build. The project would rise on city- and county-owned land surrounding the Tri-Rail and Amtrak West Palm Beach transit station.

Two Roads & Alpha Blue Secure $121.5M Loan For Forte Luxury Condo in West Palm Beach

Two Roads Development and Alpha Blue Ventures have landed a $121.5 million construction loan for the development of Forté, a 24-story waterfront luxury condominium tower anticipated to rise at 1309 South Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. Designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, with interiors  by Jean-Louis Deniot, the project is planned to yield 41 expansive luxury residences; sales have done exceptionally well with nearly 60% sold prior to commencing construction. Units will come in three-and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from 4,200 to 8,400 square feet, and a six-bedroom penthouse spanning 8,900 square feet, priced from $6.7 million to $30 million.
