In January 2022, Grover Corlew announced that it had plans for a new multi-family community under the Mayla Residences brand. The venture is called “Mayla Pompano.” The venture will offer 355 residential units across two buildings. Fifty-three residences are designated as workforce housing/affordable housing units.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that homes range from 448 square feet to 1,383 square feet each. Options range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units. The residences offer soaking bathtubs, hurricane-grade windows, private balconies, and glass cooktops.

Communal amenities include a dog spa, two resort-style pools with cabanas, and a mailroom kiosk. The two high-rise residential buildings will be joined by a pedestrian bridge. There are also more than 600 parking spots for residents, guests, and staff.
The community itself requires more than 400,000 square feet of new construction. Of that square footage, 60,000 square feet will serve as ground-floor retail space. Construction recently began on the 2.85-acre venture earlier this year. Verdex Construction, the general contractor, hopes to finish the project by July 2023, according to Business Wire.
