In less than 120 days since launching sales, 65% of residential inventory have gone into contract at La Baia, Bay Harbor Islands, an 8-story luxury boutique bay front condominium development slated for construction at 9201 East Bay Harbor Drive in the southeastern tip of Bay Harbor Islands. Designed by Luis Revuelta of Revuelta Architecture International and developed by the Continuum Company, led by visionary New York developer Ian Bruce Eichner, the project is situated along the intracoastal waterway and will contain 68 luxurious residences with 20-boat slips and over 30,000 square feet of resort-style amenities. Units will come in one- to four-bedrooms, ranging between 1,100 and 2,500 square feet and will feature well-appointed fixtures and finishes curated by New York-based Durukan Design.

Eichner, who was the mastermind behind South Beach’s prestigious South of Fifth neighborhood with the arrival of the Continuum South Beach a decade ago, has now set his sights on building La Baia on one of the last large-scale land parcels remaining in the exclusive Bay Harbor Islands – at the nexus of five-star hotels like the St. Regis and nearby world-class shops and restaurants of Bal Harbour.

Residences will feature ceiling heights ranging between nine- to 10-feet, spacious his-and-her walk-in closets, and balconies with glass railings. Each unit will come delivered fully-finished, including wide-plank European flooring, and featuring Italian cabinetry by Snaidero and Miele appliances in kitchens. Owners/residents will have access to views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Bal Harbour, Miami Beach and Downtown Miami’s growing skyline. Amenities and services include a 6,000-square-foot amenity deck with panoramic views, a rooftop pool and dedicated Kids’ & Adult areas, a state-of-the-art fitness center and Residents’ Club Room, as well as a 24/7 front desk concierge and valet parking.

“At a time where we are experiencing unprecedented Miami sales activity, and with buyers being more selective than ever on where they choose to live, we are delighted that our boutique limited edition offering, one of Miami’s best kept secrets, is a clear choice,” said Phil Gutman, President of Pgutman LLC. “With La Baia’s sales gallery slated to open later this month, the extraordinary sales are a true testament to the overwhelming response that the property has received from savvy buyers from across the U.S. and world.”

“We look forward to continuing to build upon this exciting momentum as we prepare to break ground on La Baia this month,” said Ian Bruce Eichner, founder of The Continuum Company, LLC. “Our buyers recognize the unprecedented value of the privacy and resort-style amenities that makes La Baia a product unlike any other on the market today.”

The rapid sales of residences, exclusively managed Phil Gutman of PGutman LLC, is largely attributed to the property’s tranquil cove-like setting, luxurious resort-style amenities, and large, airy offerings that have La Baia outpacing the rest of the area’s luxury condominium market.

Acclaimed international landscape designer Enzo Enea of Enea Landscape Architecture has been tapped to design the tropical gardens seen in the renderings.

Suffolk Construction is the general contractor.

La Baia, Bay Harbor Islands is slated for project completion and delivery in November 2023.
