Alexan Fontainebleau Lakes is an exciting residential venture coming to Miami-Dade County, Florida. The multi-million-dollar venture will replace a now-defunct Costco, and it will offer 356 housing units spread across seven four-story buildings.
Per Crow Holdings, the complex is aimed at households making $50,000 to $100,000 a year. Five percent of the available units will be offered as workforce housing. The South Florida Business Journal reported that ground broke on the venture in April 2021, with Trammel Crow Residential operating as the owner and general contractor.
Plans include 163 one-bedroom units, 165 two-bedroom units, and 28 three-bedroom units. In total, the complex requires more than 355,000 square feet of new construction. Amenities include a swimming pool, dog park, communal lounge, fitness center, and electric car charging stations. Plans also include more than 590 parking spots.
MSA Architects designed the garden-style community. Kimley-Horn & Associates is the civil engineer. Both organizations have offices in South Florida. Alexan Fontainebleau Lakes is just one of the many active ventures Trammel Crow Residential has right now. It’s looking to renovate defunct department stores in residential communities––which appears to be an emerging trend.
Alexan Fontainebleau Lakes’ address is 8255 Park Boulevard, Miami, Florida, 33126, in Miami-Dade County.
