Grand Pointe to Offer 189 Rental Units in Gifford, Florida

Make no mistake––Grande Pointe and Pointe Grande Apartments are not the same housing community. We recently reported on Pointe Grande Apartments, a multi-family complex offering 300 units in Palm Coast, Florida. Grand Pointe, on the other hand, is a planned housing development slated for Gifford, Florida.

The latter venture will comprise 189 housing units, requiring close to 350,000 square feet of new construction. VeroNews.com notes that the community’s units will be spread across multiple three-story buildings on a 23.6-acre lot. The buildings themselves will measure about 46 feet tall. Communal amenities include a swimming pool, leasing office, and landscaped courtyards.

The 23.6-acre build site presently has invasive plant species.

Sources note that the general contractor could start work on the project in early 2023. Grand Pointe will reach completion in two phases, with the first phase anticipated to end construction in 2025. The second phase will reach completion the following year in 2026. PAC Land Development is the $130 million venture’s developer.

Scott + Cormia Architecture and Interiors, LLC designed the community. Kimley-Horn and Associates is the civil engineer––and it’s faced with a unique challenge. Right now, the triangular-shaped parcel is filled with invasive plant growth, as well as abandoned citrus fields. The organization’s working on a way to incorporate dry and wet stormwater retention ponds into the community’s design.

Grand Pointe is located on Indian River Boulevard and 41st Street, Gifford, Florida, 32967, in Indian River County.
