Miami-based developer Shoma Group completed it’s two-tower multifamily rental community at 445 Hialeah Drive in Hialeah known as  Shoma Village. They began welcoming in the first residents to brand new apartments on August 1, with leasing activities managed by KW Property Management & Consulting and the property managed by Shoma MGMT.  The development is comprised of two 8-story buildings with 304 residences in a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedrooms. 65% of units are already rented and the remaining inventory is expected to be fully leased by the end of summer. Shoma Village was designed by Kendall-based MSA Architects, and Suffolk Construction served as the general contractor along with KD Construction of Florida, LLC as the shell contractor.

Shoma Village is leading a wave of new development and investment trickling into Hialeah, known as the City of Progress, aiming to spur economic growth and cater to a younger demographic of professionals who are Hialeah natives. The project was one of the first new Class A mixed-use housing and retail developments to break ground in the community in recent years. In addition to apartments, it will deliver an upscale Shoma Bazaar food hall, hair salon and store.

“Hialeah has always been a desirable location full of possibilities. That was true when we built Shoma Homes at Country Club of Miami here 20 years ago, and it’s still true today,” said Masoud Shojaee, CEO and Chairman of the Board at Shoma Group. “The overwhelming response we’ve seen, with the first tower becoming fully leased before future tenants could even tour the finished product, shows the unprecedented demand for brand new, Class A housing in this area with a large list of amenities, a private parking garage, and a Shoma Bazaar with retail space on site. People are ready for a new standard of living in Hialeah.”

“We could not be happier with the amazing reception that Shoma Village has seen and we look forward to continuing that momentum as we lease the second tower,” said Stephanie Shojaee, President of Shoma Group. “We have put our heart and soul into carefully selecting every color, finish, and feature to make Shoma Village an exemplary and enjoyable live-work-play community for Hialeah. I am very excited to introduce it to the community and welcome people into their new, luxurious homes.”

Floorplans at Shoma Village range from studios measuring about 640 square feet to three-bedroom units totaling about 1,370 square feet. The units offer a bright and lively atmosphere, boasting chic barn doors, spacious walk-in and linen closets, and an inviting wood-style flooring throughout each apartment. They also include private balconies, energy efficient hurricane-impact windows, Honeywell PRO programmable thermostats, and Whirlpool front-load washers. Kitchens and bathrooms feature quartz and Marble-Lite countertops, designer vanities, a rain showerhead, and an oversized soaking bathtub. Tech-savvy security upgrades include fingerprint readers, keyless entry, and ButterflyMX video intercoms that allow residents to easily and securely let in visitors from their smartphones.

Outdoor amenities include a large pool with a gazebo and courtyard, a playground, a grilling area, and a dog park.
