It’s official: 441 Arthouse is unfolding in Lauderhill, Florida. The mixed-use complex will offer 245 apartments in a five-story building, per the South Florida Business Journal. Homes would measure 700 to 1,300 square feet, offering an array of floorplans.
They include studios to three-bedroom homes. The Real Deal reports that “units will include at least four two-story townhomes.” All units will be marketed as living and working spaces for local artisans.
Communal amenities comprise a swimming pool, dog park, garden, and grilling areas. Construction could start in early 2024, expected to take anywhere from 12 months to 24 months.
The residences are just one aspect of 441 Arthouse. The community will also offer 10,000 square feet of retail space. Conceptual renderings by BC Architects show that those ventures will be on the ground floor.
Sources note that GJ Lauderhill LLC purchased the 4.7-acre build site for $7 million in late 2022. Previously, the build site sold for $1.7 million in 2016. Other involved parties in the venture include Schulman Properties and Lee & Associates–South Florida.
441 Arthouse could cost $90 million to complete. It’s located along the west side of U.S. 441 in Lauderhill, Florida, in Broward County.
