Erickson Senior Living at Lakewood Ranch is emerging in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Per the Bradenton Herald, the community will comprise more than 1,000 independent living apartments, along with a 250-bed skilled nursing facility. The community will comprise at least 10 buildings that interconnect with pedestrian bridges. Phase one will feature 660 apartments, while the second phase will offer 360 units along with various infrastructural improvements.
The community will offer more than 1,000 units.
Sources report that the project’s estimated to cost $271 million to complete. At the time of publication, the venture was seeking site plan approvals from Manatee County, with construction slated to start in August 2023. If all goes according to plan, construction could end in December 2024 or early January 2025.
Erickson Senior Living is the developer. It has 23 properties across 11 states, serving more than 28,000 senior residents. Lantz Boggio Architects designed the community. Conceptual renderings via media outlets show a community comprising mid-level buildings with various communal amenities, including a swimming pool. Based in Colorado, the firm presently has three projects in its pipeline: this one, Bethesda Gardens in Texas, and Tallgrass Creek Residential in Kansas.
Kimley-Horn Sarasota is the landscape architect, environmental engineer, and civil engineer. Erickson Senior Living at Lakewood Ranch’s address is 122nd Circle East, Bradenton, Florida, 34202, in Manatee County.

I believe their sales office is expected to open some time later this year – really exciting! Erickson has a transferable Priority List membership company-wide. So, if you were to join this List at an existing community and inform them that you are actually interested in the Lakewood Ranch community, they will then transfer you to that list when it is officially launched. Then, you’ll be on the list for info and for the commencement of the reservation process.

As of 10/24/23 still can find no information on a start date. The website ( https://lakewoodranch.ericksonseniorliving.com ) says they are still in their site location and permitting process. I signed up to provide input but haven’t heard back. Is there any updated info?

I have a very good friend that lived at Avery Point . I do like the concept. I currently have a 6 year old Siberian Husky that is our dear companion . We currently live in The Villages, Fl. .we have lived here 17+ years , but their costs keep rising , while my savings decline .
We do own everything in our world and had that covered before we migrated to Florida. Home value is listed as $560,000 +.Savings are $200 k.
