City Village is a mixed-use venture headed for Coral Springs, Florida. The project was previously dubbed “Village Square.” Sources report that the project will mostly comprise retail ventures and apartments. City Village will rest on 12.8 acres and span two blocks, per Tap Into Coral Springs.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that City Village will comprise more than 150,000 square feet of new construction. Plans call for 410 apartments, with rent costing around $2,000 a month.
Plans also include 150,000 square feet of retail and 1,450 parking spots. One of the retail ventures is a grocery store measuring more than 40,000 square feet. It will face University Drive. Amera Corp. is the project’s builder.
City Village’s features will span 10 buildings, with the tallest one measuring eight stories. Sources don’t list a firm construction timeline. Yet, these same sources note that City Village will reach completion in phases. The first phase will involve building four apartment and retail buildings. The other phases’ function will depend on market conditions.
City Village will “be constructed over a two-city block area, stretching west from University Drive to Coral Hills Drive.” The venture’s located in Coral Springs, Florida, which is in Broward County.
