The Vineta Hotel to Unveil in Mid-2024 at 363 Cocoanut Row, Palm Beach, FL

Oetker Collection is a German-based company with a major goal on the horizon: its first-ever hotel in the United States. Per the Palm Beach Daily News, the Vineta Hotel will redevelop a Chesterfield hotel, offering 41 rooms.

The hotel will offer high-end amenities, including an on-site bar and restaurant. Both can accommodate up to 197 people total. Oetker Collection reports that this involves renovating the Chesterfield’s courtyard and Leopard Lounge.

The venture will renovate this hotel.

Conceptual renderings show that the new hotel will measure four stories above grade. The exterior will pay homage to the old hotel while also reflecting the area’s island lifestyle. It’s scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2024.

The Vineta Hotel isn’t without controversy, however. In February 2023, media outlets noted that residents of Palm Beach were concerned about the heavy traffic the hotel could bring. They were also concerned that, essentially, the project involves “replacing one hotel with another.”

The venture will include a bar and restaurant.

Reuben Brothers of London purchased the Chesterfield for $42 million in April 2022. Tino Zervudachi of AD 100 is the interior designer. The Vineta Hotel’s address will be 363 Cocoanut Row, Palm Beach, FL, 33480, in Palm Beach County. It offers easy beach access, as it’s located a few blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.
