Miami-based real estate developers Terra Group and One Thousand Group partnered with Major Food Group to reveal the Villa Residences, a lustrous 58-story residential tower planned for 710 Northeast 29th Street in Edgewater, Miami. Local architect, Kurt Dannwolf of ODP Architecture & Design, leads the architectural design team, while Vicky Charles of Charles & Co will lead the interior design. The 650-foot-tall crystalline structure will feature a copper color-clad exoskeletal design containing 60 – 70 units. The building will offer expansive full-floor vertical “villas” with 360-degree views of Biscayne Bay and the city, personalized service, curated amenities, exceptional design, and privacy.

Villa Residences marks the first collaboration between Terra, led by CEO David Martin, and One Thousand Group, co-founded by Kevin Venger and Louis Birdman, along with partner Michael Konig. The project unites visionaries from acclaimed hospitality, private club, and residential experiences to redefine modern living. Terra is renowned for collaborating with Pritzker Prize-winning architects like Bjarke Ingels, Rem Koolhaas, and Arquitectonica to create its avant-garde portfolio, featuring projects like Grove at Grand Bay and Park Grove. Meanwhile, One Thousand Group is the driving force behind Miami’s iconic One Thousand Museum, designed by the esteemed Zaha Hadid Architects.

One of the world’s most renowned landscape architects, Enzo Enea of Switzerland, will oversee the landscape architecture.

The image below, shared by Louis Birdman on Instagram, unveils Villa’s comprehensive layout. The first floor will feature a sophisticated restaurant and bar with an outdoor terrace, and the second will host another dining establishment. A bay walk and docks will enhance the waterfront appeal while residents and guests access the elegant lobby through a covered drop-off area.

  1. Parking. Where will the rich residents park? Where will the workers park? And Edgewater is on low ground. It floods frequently.
