NJR Investment and Development Company has changed its plans for Claridge Lane Townhomes, which is now known as “Aerie on 3rd.” Previously, Claridge Lane Townhomes was to offer 15 three-bedroom townhomes, starting in the low $1,000,000s.
Now, the developer is focusing on an expanded project that would more than double the available residences. Per St. Pete Rising, Aerie on 3rd would offer 36 condos in a five-story building. Homes would span one-bedroom to three-bedroom floorplans, measuring about 750 to 1,665 square feet.
Communal amenities would feature a fitness center, residents-only lounge, ground-floor storage space, and a small dog park. There would also be an underground parking garage. The design of Aerie on 3rd intentionally resembles Castille Urbana, a bright-white building with large windows and corner balconies.
Castille Urbana is another project in NJR’s pipeline, offering 40 units in a five-story building. The community will likely finish construction sometime this year. Regarding Aerie on 3rd, Our sources indicate that: “NJR has received preliminary approval from the city and seeks to break ground in the next 30 days.”
Completion is slated for 2025. The 36-condo community is located at 357 3rd Street South, St. Petersburg, FL, 33701, in Pinellas County. It’s across from the Camden Pier District.
