Construction could start on Palma Miami Beach Residences later this year. The 14-story condo would comprise 126 furnished units, with most one-bedroom and two-bedroom floorplans measuring 405 to 886 square feet.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that there would also be multiple penthouses––some reaching 1,342 square feet. Communal amenities at Palma Miami Beach Residences would include a fitness center, swimming pool, game lounge, and an outdoor kitchen. Currently, homes would start at $650,000, but this is subject to change.
Aside from the residential aspect, there would also be 8,500 square feet of retail. Lefferts, the developer, owns the .63-acre build site. It plans to finish construction on the 127,000-square-foot building in 2026.
Mendy Chudaitov, the founder of Lefferts, anticipates a quick sell-out, with many owners being first-time homeowners or “empty nesters who travel for part of the year, and want the option to supplement their income while they’re gone.”
The Real Deal notes that Built Form is the architect, and Studio Ramirez is the interior designer. Sitework on Palma Miami Beach Residences could soon start at 666 71st St., Miami Beach, FL, 33141, in Miami-Dade County. Aerial renderings from Google Earth show that the site is currently a parking lot.
